A few weeks back the Steelers were 7 points better than the Bengals in the Queen City.
Sunday at Heinz Field, the defending AFC Champs were out to prove they were a lot better than that. Paced by a big day from their defense and a punt return for a score, the Steelers beat up the Bengals 35-7 to move to 9-3 on the season.
The Bengals drop to 7-5 with the loss, taking a big hit in their playoff hopes in the AFC.
Cincinnati hurt themselves all day, taking what could have been an opening drive TD and turning it eventually into a blocked field goal, going from being up 7-0 to it being scoreless in the first quarter.
The Steelers went on the attack, putting together two solid drives, and then getting a punt return for a score to seal the deal before halftime as they led 28-7 at the break.
