It was a record setting day for Ravens RB Ray Rice, as Baltimore stayed atop the AFC North with a commanding 24-10 win over the Browns in Cleveland Sunday.
It was all Rice all the time, as he ran for 204 yards on 29 carries with a touchdown. He averaged seven yards per carry, and had a number of long runs, the longest of the day being a 67-yard scamper.
Joe Flacco wasn’t asked to do much for Baltimore, but he was good enough. On the night with rain falling he went 10-for-23 for 158 yards with no picks and no TD’s.
The Ravens jump to 9-3, tied with Pittsburgh for first in the North, but they have the tie-breaker, and control their own destiny.
The Browns were led by Colt McCoy, who went 17-for-35 for 192 yards with a pick and a late TD to Evan Moore. He was also sacked 3 times and his QB rating was 63.0.
Cleveland is now 4-8, and will be on the road this Thursday night as they play the Steelers.
