The Houston Texans are working out a pair of quarterbacks on Tuesday following the season-ending injury to Matt Leinart, according to Adam Schefter, who cites a league source through ESPN.
The only two signal callers on the Texans roster: rookie fifth-round QB T.J. Yates (North Carolina) and recently-acquired Kellen Clemens.
Between the two, they have a total of nine career NFL regular season starts at quarterback.
The two quarterbacks the Texans are trying out – have a total of 14 career NFL playoff starts and five Pro Bowl appearances combined.
