Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha was carted off the practice field with an apparent knee injury on Thursday.
The team is expected to update Asomugha’s status following practice.
Signed to a five-year, $60 million contract in July, Asomugha has 24 tackles and is tied for the team lead with three interceptions this season. The 2003 first-round pick out of Cal by the Oakland Raiders has been durable throughout his eight-plus seasons in the NFL, missing just six games in his career and never more than two in a single season.
The Eagles are still practicing without No. 3 cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who has missed last week’s game against the New York Giants with an ankle injury.
