Rams bring in a pair of defensive players

Aaron Wilson of ProFootball.Scout.com reports the Rams tried out former Bengals and Colts cornerback Morgan Trent and former Patriots defensive lineman Kade Weston, according to a league source.

Trent worked out for the Eagles earlier this week.

Trent is a former sixth-round draft pick from the University of Michigan.

Weston was drafted in the seventh round by New England out of Georgia last year.  He was eventually cut from the Patriots’ injured reserve list.

He signed with the Colts’ practice squad on Oct. 5, but was later released.
