The Cardinals announced that they have placed starting nose tackle Dan Williams on Injured Reserve.
Williams broke his left arm when it was hit by teammate Stewart Bradley during Sunday’s 23-7 loss to the 49ers.
The 2010 first-round pick out of Tennessee had 20 tackles and two passes defensed in 10 games this season after posting 38 tackles in 15 games in a reserve role as a rookie.
Replacing Williams on the 53-man roster is practice squad defensive end Ronald Talley, who spent six weeks on the active roster earlier this season, but did not appear in any games.
Other roster moves: The Cardinals have also released tight end Stephen Skelton from the practice squad. Nose tackle Ricky Lumpkin and linebacker Brandon Williams have been signed to replace Talley and Skelton on the practice squad.
