Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall blames the Redskins sixth straight loss on himself, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.
” I’m the reason we lost the game. It’s tough to swallow,” Hall said. “Um, second time in a row against Dallas. Definitely a little [angry] at myself. It’s hard to swallow, period. One, because it’s the Cowboys, two, because it’s a win and we done lost what, six in row? We’d lost five in a row up until that point and any time the offense puts points on the board like that, we’ve got to win the game. We’ve got to win the game. We’ve been…complaining all week about – or over the past couple weeks about – them putting up 10 points, 12 points, nine points and they come out here and put up 24 and we don’t win the game. It’s definitely frustrating from the defensive standpoint because the plays they got were plays that we messed up on. We messed up on the one to Dez [Bryant] earlier in the game, and it’s just things we can’t do as a defense.”
“It’s frustrating. It’s frustrating, but I can’t point a finger at anybody but myself. The way I’m playing, they need to go and cut me because I’m definitely not worth what I’m getting. It’s frustrating. Hopefully they see something in me and they bring me back next year. But the way things are going right now, I’m definitely not playing up to par.”
