Last week Nike presented their new line of innovative gear at their headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
I was privileged enough to be in attendance and actually received the opportunity to try out the Nike SPARQ Vapor Strobe eye goggles; the same exact product Packers Pro Bowl wide receiver Greg Jennings uses to train with to bolster his reactionary skills.
The new brand of technology is “resistance training” for the eyes. It helps in-line with improving your sensory movements, developing your ability to read and react, something that’s extremely important for receivers catching the football as they have to concentrate while defenders attack them at game speed.
The SPARQ goggles also help with eye-hand coordination, an essential skill needed for a receiver like Greg Jennings, especially at the professional level. Also, it’s a must to have sharp eye-hand coordination at your disposal when Aaron Rodgers is firing in bullets on a dime.
Not only has Jennings donned these new innovative goggles, but NBA athletes from baseball players to those in the collegiate ranks have used them to help elevate their performance. It’s definitely the newest and latest idea from Nike to give athletes the best training gear to upgrade their game.
So the next time you see #85 of the Packers make a remarkable snag, remember that you can give some credit to the New Nike SPARQ Vapor Strobe goggles that he was introduced to at the Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
