Bears Add OL Ricky Henry To Active Roster

The Bears announced that they have promoted practice squad guard Ricky Henry to the active roster.

A JUCO transfer, Henry started 28 games at right for the Cornhuskers over the 2009 and 2010 seasons, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors after last season.

The 6-foot-3, 308-pound Henry went undrafted in April and signed with the Bears after the lockout was lifted. Henry appeared in four games for the Bears during the preseason and has been on their practice squad since the start of the season.

Henry takes the roster spot of left guard Chris Williams, who was placed on injured reserve earlier this week with a dislocated wrist.
