Redskins bring back Stallworth; place rookie Hankerson on IR

Two days after placing rookie wide receiver Leonard Hankerson on Injured Reserve due to a torn labrum in his hip, the Redskins have re-signed veteran wide receiver Donte Stallworth, Howard Eskin of WIP in Philadelphia reports.

Stallworth signed with the Redskins when the lockout ended and had five receptions for 46 yards in four games before he was waived last week when the team signed David Anderson.

For his career, the 31-year-old Stallworth has 303 receptions for 4,511 yards with 32 touchdowns.

Other news: With defensive end Kedric Golston on IR after suffering what head coach Mike Shanahan said was a third-degree tear of the MCL and partial tear of the ACL in his knee, the Redskins will re-sign veteran defensive lineman Darrion Scott, The Washington Post reports.
