Where’s the offense in the Nation’s Capital?

Mr. Destiny on the Redskins’ offensive woes

Rex Grossman was very ineffective Sunday (215 yards, two interceptions) but it was in large part due to the fact he was either sacked, pressured, or hit on almost half of his drop backs.

Both Helu and Torain totaled 61 yards on the ground, leaving three field goals as the only scoring done all game.

The Redskins are facing the reality that they should have chased a quarterback in the off season and are thin at talent with their current running backs.

Still, Washington is one of those trickier teams to take lightly. Their defense has been aggressive and opportunistic for most the season so they are very capable of playing spoiler to a team like the Cowboys next week.
