Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub is done for the year with a foot injury. Schaub is seeking a second opinion next week, hoping he won’t have to have surgery on the Lisfranc joint in right foot.
Former Heisman winner Matt Leinart – whose last start came in 2007 – is expected to hold down the fort. Until when? “I’m not sure. I know there’s not a timetable on Matt’s injury,” said Leinart through the Texans’ Twitter account.
Hit “Like” if you still think the 7-3 Texans – with their explosive defense and their supreme run game – can win with Matt Leinart.
