Balanced attack guides Rams offense

Mr. Destiny on the Rams performance in Cleveland

Sam Bradford and the pass game had an expected mild day through the air, ending with only 155 yards with one score and one interception against the NFL’s best secondary.

Steven Jackson did most of the heavy lifting, pounding the Browns for 128 yards on the ground. The Rams were by far the better overall team and despite a little luck falling their way needed this win on the road to boost their confidence.

Brandon Lloyd also continued to develop his instant chemistry with Bradford, finishing with 48 yards and the only touchdown of the day.

The Rams will only continue to progress this season, especially as Mark Clayton is given more reps and is at full speed. They are essentially playing for pride at this point but more importantly will be developing the chemistry among this new offensive personnel for next season. This is another team likely to play spoiler down the stretch.
