Patriots signed wide receiver Tiquan Underwood after cutting former All-Pro defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth and tight end Dan Gronkowski, the brother of tight end Rob Gronkowski. Underwood, 24, played two seasons with the Jaguars and was signed by Patriots on Aug. 29 after being released by Jacksonville.
He was released by the Patriots on Sept. 3. Gronkowski, 26, was originally signed by the Patriots on Sept. 7. and played in the first two games before being released on Sept. 23. He was re-signed to the Patriots on Oct. 11 and played in the last three games.
