Brady has been on a slide of late, facing defenses hell bent on giving him the least amount of time to throw the ball. He basically lost this game single handedly with his 2 picks and lost fumble, though the fumble came on a pass attempt where his arm was hit in mid motion.
While nobody is going to put the onus on him alone, he now has 4 interceptions in his last three games and defenses may have figured out a way to beat the future Hall of Famer. His main issue is the lack of talent at wide out. Welker is his only true threat to go along with his tight ends. Past that, Ochocinco and Edelman have been huge disappointment which only make his job that much harder.
Also of note was the lack of presence from BenJarvis Green-Ellis. Even though Faulk was out, the Pats opted for Woodhead instead. This speaks volumes of the injury to Ellis and could be an issue if he is forced to miss more time with the toe injury. Things won’t get any easier for the Pats as they travel to the Jets next week.
