Miles Austin To Have MRI on Hamstring

Miles Austin is battling another hamstring injury — this time to his other leg according to the Dallas Morning News.

Now his immediate future is in doubt once again. He will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.

“It’s paramount I get back as fast as I can,” Austin said.

Austin missed two games earlier this season with a strained left hamstring, and on Sunday he injured the right one during a 37-yard completion in the second quarter of a 23-13 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

“Randomly on that one play, my other hammy just grabbed up, out of nowhere,” Austin said. “It’s hard to describe how it feels, but it really hurts.

Austin began limping at the end of the play. He wasn’t putting weight on his right leg and immediately had an ice pack applied.

Quarterback Tony Romo seemed resigned to losing his top target for at least a week.

“It’s going to be hard without him,” Romo said. “He’s an explosive player who is outstanding in everything at that position. Obviously we’ll have to do some things to counter it.”
