Lions Expected to Ink Guard Leonard Davis

The Lions are expected to sign veteran guard Leonard Davis, Aaron Wilson of Scout.com reports.

Davis, 33, was the second overall pick of the 2001 NFL Draft out of Texas by the Arizona Cardinals. Davis has started 155 games over his ten year career, the last four of which was spent with the Dallas Cowboys, who released Davis for salary cap purposes after the lockout was lifted.

Since his release, Davis has worked out for the Tennessee Titans (10/25) and was one of nearly two dozen players to work out for the Lions on November 4.
