Big Ben Again Takes Home the AFC Offensive Player of the Week Award

For the second time in the month of October, and the ninth time in his career, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week, the team announced on Wednesday.

Roethlisberger completed 36-of-50 pass attempts for 365 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the Steelers’ 25-17 win over the New England Patriots. For the season, Roethlisberger is completing 64.4 percent of 284 pass attempts for 2,302 yards with 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions for a passer rating of 95.7.

Roethlisberger earned the same honor following his five-touchdown pass performance against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5.
