Browns release WR Robiskie

Third-year wide receiver Brian Robiskie has been released by the Browns.
Browns waived wide receiver Brian Robiskie to make room for running back Thomas Clayton.

Simply put, the Ohio State alum (36th overall pick in ’09) belongs in the “bust” category for Browns’ draft blunders.

In six games this season, the former Buckeye tallied only three catches for a total of 25 yards.

The Browns drafted Robiskie, Mohamed Massaquoi (50th), and David Veikune (52nd) ahead of Eagles’ star running back LeSean McCoy (53rd) in 2009.
