Broncos buried by Lions 45-10

Tim Tebow made two mistakes that led to a pair of Detroit defensive scores while his counterpart Matthew Stafford tossed for a trio of touchdowns, as the Broncos were humiliated in front of their home fans, 45-10.

Down at one time 45-3, after Chris Houston picked off Tebow for 100 yards to paydirt, it was a game John Fox will now have to deal with the media in the upcoming week concerning another potential quarterback controversy after the second-year signal caller had an underwhelming contest.  The former Heisman Trophy winner went 18 of 39 for 172 yards passing the football.

And it wasn’t only the offense that stunk up the joint, as the defensive backfield looked lost, especially on the Lions first score; a 41-yard touchdown that rookie Titus Young caught completely wide open to put Detroit ahead 7-3 in the first quarter.

Overall, it was a rather putrid presentation by Tebow, Broncos in the Mile High City on Sunday, as the team dropped to 2-5 on the season with the blowout loss.

Next: Sunday November 6 at Oakland Raiders, 2:05 MT.
