Mike Tolbert has remained sidelined all week with a hamstring strain and it is appearing more likely every day he will not play on Monday night in Kansas City. “I’m not real hopeful on Michael,” head coach Norv Turner said.
There was better news regarding receiver Malcom Floyd, who for the first time this week was able to at least participate in the individual drills before watching the rest of practice. “I was excited to see him be able to go out and do what he could do,” Turner said. “Hopefully, he can practice tomorrow.” Also Thursday, tight end Antonio Gates took what will likely be his regular one day off each week. It was not a setback, and he will face the Chiefs.
