Marshall Predicts Win, Should Be Careful What He Says

The headlines and news keeps piling up for the Dolphins off the field. From players throwing verbal jabs at their teammates, or coaches saying players are failing to execute correctly, the Dolphins are in a dire situation at the moment.

The latest news comes from a tweet from Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall, who proclaimed to the media: “To Media: When we win Sunday please don’t say the Giants didn’t take us seriously.”

Out of the all of the players on the team who should not be predicting a victory, Marshall is at the top of my list.

After a whole season where he has failed to make a positive impact on the team at all, he keeps coming up with new ways to get himself into the media. The optimism is appreciated Brandon, but you should expect to win when you play in the NFL, that’s your job, to win ball games, and if you don’t think you can do your job correctly, then you shouldn’t be in the league.

But this may be a little over the top, especially after the last time Marshall made headlines for predicting himself to play like a “Monster” in the Monday night game against the Jets two weeks ago. Marshall ended up having a negative impact in that game, dropping passes in the endzone, and running out of bounds when another touchdown was inevitable. The guy just cannot figure it out thus far in his career in Miami.
