Aaron Wilson of ProFootball.Scout.com reports the Cowboys auditioned 14 players this week, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
The Cowboys worked out safeties Chris Horton, a former Redskins starter, and C.C. Brown as well as former Broncos second-round draft pick Darcel McBath and defensive backs C.J. Wilson and Justin Taplin-Ross.
They also tried out wide receivers Johnnie Lee Higgins, Demetrius Williams, Yamon Figures, Tiquan Underwood and running backs Jalen Parmele and Aaron Brown.
The Cowboys also took a look at former Eagles offensive lineman Nick Cole, former Raiders and Bills offensive linemen Langston Walker and offensive guard Mike Gibson.
