Bears linebacker Lance Briggs has been named the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Week.
Briggs generated six tackles and an interception in the Bears’ 24-18 victory over the Buccaneers in London on Sunday.
On the season, the Arizona alum has produced 55 tackles – 40 of which have been solo stops.
When told Wednesday that he was honored, the former Wildcat standout responded, “By who?”
