Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch injured his back during pregame warmups and will not play against the Cleveland Browns.
Veteran Leon Washington got the start, and both he and Justin Forsett will handle the running duties for the Seahawks this afternoon.
Lynch leads the Seahawks with 58 carries for 239 yards and two touchdowns. Lynch had 98 yards, his biggest single-game total with the Seahawks, and a touchdown in Seattle’s Week 5 win over the New York Giants. Lynch also sprained his ankle in that game, an injury that had him listed as “probable” on the injury report.
