CBS Sports Rams vs. Cowboys Preview (Review)

Did anyone watch this video?  There was almost zero Rams related analysis.  Jason Horowitz asked his sportscasting counterpart Pat Kirwan how the Rams could avoid being blown out.  He didn’t ask how can they win or how they can be the most competitive, but “How can they not be blown out?”  The best Kirwan could come up with was the Rams needed to slow things down and use Steven Jackson extensively.  How sad have we become?  Even fulltime analysts have run out of analysis on our 0-5 Rams.

I haven’t read it anywhere yet, but let me be the first to say it… it is time for some heads to roll.  No one (except for Sam Bradford who has not yet had the support to do the job he was hired to do) should be exempt. No one.  Steven Jackson, who has been my hero for years, has got to start producing or he needs to go.  Our very expensive offensive line needs to start producing or they need to go.  Our d-line, our linebackers, our special teams, EVERYONE needs to pull it together.  I would throw our wide receivers in there except we don’t have any wide receivers worth blaming.  Brandon Lloyd better bring it and bring it quick.  If we don’t get a win against the bi-polar Dallas Cowboys then Spags needs to take a long walk off a short pier (figuratively speaking).

I’ve had it.  I have come to live with the fact that the Rams are not the greatest team in the league, but when my greatest expectations amount to a strong desire not to be embarrassed every weekend, then all is not right with the (NFL) world.  When every avenue of common sense has been exhausted then it is time for a top-to-bottom re-tooling.
