The Raiders will look at free agent kickers as Sebastian Janikowski’s hamstring injury will likely keep him out of action for a pair of weeks, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports.
A two-time AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honoree this season, the former Seminole is 12-of-13 on field goal kicks and had an NFL record-tying 63-yard boot in a Week 1 win over the Broncos.
A first-round selection out of Florida State in 2000, Janikowski has not missed a game since 2001, a streak of 150 consecutive contests that ranks third among active kickers.
Which kickers the Raiders are bringing in is unknown. Veterans Shayne Graham and Dave Rayner are available and have worked out for other teams (San Diego, New England) this season.
