The Texans have elevated rookie safety Shiloh Keo to the 53-man roster off the team’s practice squad, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.
A 2011 fifth-round pick (144th overall) out of Idaho, Keo had three tackles in four preseason games before he was waived and re-signed to the practice squad in early September.
Safety Dominique Barber, a special teams standout, was placed on injured reserve with a broken foot that will require surgery.
