Browns starting linebacker Scott Fujita has been sent home for a second straight day with post-concussion symptoms.
Fujita was injured in Sunday’s game against Oakland. The team sent him home on Wednesday and again Thursday before practice. Coach Pat Shurmur would not discuss specifics of Fujita’s symptoms. Shurmur did not rule Fujita out of this week’s game against Seattle, but it seems unlikely the 10-year veteran will be cleared to play.
Shurmur did not know if Fujita has sustained prior concussions.
Also, running back Peyton Hillis and cornerback Joe Haden are not practicing because of injuries. Hillis strained his left hamstring last week. Shurmur said the bruising back will jog in the pool.
Haden missed last week’s game with a sprained knee. Shurmur expects Haden to jog Thursday and said his status for Sunday is day-to-day.
