Free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens will hold a workout for NFL teams in Calabasas, California next Tuesday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
The 37-year-old Owens tore his ACL during the lockout, undergoing surgery within the last six months. Owens’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says his client has been medically cleared to play and will run routes and perform agility drills in the 11am Pacific time workout.
In 14 games with the Bengals in 2010, Owens caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns.
Owens ranks fifth all-time with 1,078 receptions, and his 15,934 receiving yards and 153 receiving touchdowns rank second. Over his 15-year career with the San Francisco 49ers (1996-2003), Philadelphia Eagles (2004-05), Dallas Cowboys (2006-08), Buffalo Bills (2009), and Bengals (2010), Owens has been named to six Pro Bowls and is a five-time first-team All-Pro selection.
The Titans, who lost wide receiver Kenny Britt to a season-ending knee surgery, may have an interest in Owens.
