Seahawks QB Charlie Whitehurst to start Sunday at Browns?

Tarvaris Jackson was limited in practice Wednesday, and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said making a decision on his starting quarterback’s playing status for Sunday’s meeting with the Browns could take until game time according to the Associated Press.

Jackson suffered a high grade strain of his right pectoral during the third quarter of the Seahawks’ 36-25 victory over the Giants on Oct. 9.

Carroll said Charlie Whitehurst will take the first-team reps in practice throughout the week and the team will prepare as though the backup will start.
