Dolphins Ink Free Agent DB Gerald Alexander to One-Year Deal

Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports the Dolphins have signed free agent defensive back Gerald Alexander to a one-year deal. Alexander was released at final cuts by the Dolphins after a four-day stint in camp. He’ll bring 30 games of starting experience to the table, but has proven to be a fringe NFL talent. Ex-Lions GM Matt Millen selected Alexander in the second round of the 2007 draft.
