WR Mike Sims-Walker returns to Jacksonville

One day after being released by the Rams, wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker is heading back to his original team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union reports.

The Rams released Sims-Walker on Monday after completing a trade with the Broncos for wide receiver Brandon Lloyd.

Sims-Walker signed a one-year, $1 million deal with the Rams in August and caught 11 passes for 139 yards in four games.

Sims-Walker was a healthy scratch in Week 6.

Rucker claimed: The Jaguars have signed tight end Martin Rucker off of the Cowboys practice squad.  This comes as a result of tight end Zach Miller being placed on IR.  Also, rookie cornerback T.J. Heath was signed off the practice squad.
