Risky Rex ravages Redskins; fall to Eagles 20-13

Whenever a quarterback controversy leads the headlines following a game – it’s never a good thing.

That was the case for the Redskins, as the signal caller who started under center for them ended up getting benched due to four interceptions – three to the same defender, Eagles safety Kurt Coleman.

Despite his poor performance, Rex Grossman had this to say following the game against the Eagles on Sunday:

“I believe in myself, no matter if the whole stadium doesn’t, the coaching staff doesn’t,” Grossman said. “Whatever the situation is, I believe in myself.”

All in all, a team that started the day atop the NFC East standings, went from maybe “we’re for real” to fans chanting “We Want Beck.”

John Beck led the offense and scored its only touchdown late in the fourth quarter of the club’s 20-13 loss to the Eagles.  I’m sure there will be plenty to talk about on Monday.

Next: 3-2 Redskins at Carolina Panthers, Sunday October 23, 1 ET.

So, who’s your QB for the Redskins?
