I’m starting to wonder if New Meadowlands was built on an Indian burial ground. Because guys are getting hurt at crazy rates, and are not healing at all. For Sunday’s game against the Bills, Brandon Jacobs, Justin Tuck, Chris Snee and Henry Hynoski are all out. Obviously, all huge blows. The running game could not get going without Brandon Jacobs, and a line that is struggling with be without their best player in Snee. David Baas is questionable, but if he can go, he will, otherwise, the center and right guard positions will be well below average.
As for Tuck, I think his loss is felt on third downs, more than anything. Instead of having a pass rush of Kiwanuka, Tuck and JPP inside, and Osi, you’re replacing Tuck with Rocky Bernard. Tuck is also your best run defender on the line, so teams are going to go after JPP and Tollefson.
