Bucs-Saints Game to be Blacked Out Sunday

After selling out their Monday night game against the Colts in Week 4, the Buccaneers announced that this Sunday’s game against the NFC South-leading Saints will be blacked out on local television.

According to Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times, around 55,000 tickets have been sold for the game.

Despite coming off a 10-6 season in 2010, the Buccaneers’ first two homes games — against the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons — were blacked out, running the team’s regular season streak to 10 before selling out their prime time game with the Colts.

The Buccaneers have one other home game in prime time this season, a December 17 against the Dallas Cowboys that represents the team’s best chance to pack Raymond James Stadium this season.
