Former ‘Noles, Titans WR Chris Davis Best In The UFL

Former FSU and Tennessee Titans WR Chris Davis leads the UFL in catches, 25, and receiving yards, 225, with no touchdown yet through three games. Right now, Jeremiah Masoli is the QB for the 1-2 Nighthawks, though Troy Smith could end up taking over should they lose their next game.

While a Titan, Davis was 10th in the NFL in punt return average in 2007 with a 9.5 average. In two seasons with the Titans, he finished with 7 receptions for 69 yards and 0 TDs. Davis also wound up on a Bengals camp roster.

The UFL still has no TV deal and is wrapping up its season either on November 4th or 5th. Then, Davis will be free to sign with an NFL team and I believe he will.
