Tight End Chris Cooley, who missed time throughout training camp and the preseason while trying to rest his injured knee, experienced what head coach Mike Shanahan referred to as a “little setback” this week, and his availability for this Sunday’s game against Philadelphia is now in question.
Cooley had fluid drained from his knee this week, after he experienced some swelling, and the knee remains “a bit sore,” according to Shanahan.
Along with Cooley, the following players were limited in practice (thanks to the Football Insider blog at the Washington Post for this information):
– Running back Tim Hightower (shoulder)
– Wide Receiver Anthony Armstrong (hamstring)
– Cornerback Phillip Buchanon (neck)
