The Buccaneers announced that they have placed rookie running back Allen Bradford on waivers.
A 2011 sixth-round pick (187th overall) out of Southern California, Bradford had 24 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown with three tackles on special teams in the preseason, earning a spot on the 53-man roster.
The 5-foot-11, 235-pound former Trojan was inactive the first four weeks of the season before gaining 13 yards on five carries in the Buccaneers’ 48-3 loss to the 49ers.
Which presents the intriguing question: could the extra spot be utilized to add reinstated safety Tanard Jackson to the active roster?
