Are This Season’s Huge Passing Numbers Leading To More Points? (Week 5 Update)

The explosion in passing yards is not yet leading to a similar increase in points scored.  Passing yards are at 126.6 and points scored are at 112.1.  (2006 = 100.0); this is still the biggest difference between the two since the start of the 16-game era.
