It would appear that the Tennessee Titans could use more prep time and time for new gameplans, but according to the new rules of the collective bargaining agreement, the Titans will not practice again until Oct. 17.
This five-day break is longer than what the players would have had during last season.
“The bye week, when I played, was a long week. You practiced three or four days in pads and got after it pretty good. You didn’t look forward to the bye week. Now, it is different; guys look forward to the bye week,” said head coach Mike Munchak.
It’s obvious that Munchak needs these players on the field working hard after a tough loss last week. It appears that the Titans coaching staff will have to go another way, and let the players clear their heads before coming back and working hard.
According to The Tennessean, players can still rehab injuries and players are still allowed to practice.
