With Dave Zastudil dealing with knee inflammation, the Cardinals announced that they have re-signed veteran punter Ben Graham.
Zastudil remains on the 53-man roster, and the Cardinals had an open roster spot after waiving cornerback Korey Lindsey earlier in the week. Lindsey has been re-signed to the practice squad, with rookie safety Mark LeGree terminated from the squad.
Graham handled the punting duties for the Cardinals the last two seasons, averaging 37.9 yards on 200 booms, 78 of which were placed inside the opponents’ 20-yard line. The Australian-born Graham, who turns 38 next month, was named to the Pro Bowl in 2010, but was released in favor of Zastudil at the end of training camp.
The left-footed Zastudil has a 36.1-yard net average this season, which ranks 26th in the NFL through four weeks.
