Defensive tackle Eric Foster spent the night in an area hospital after suffering a dislocated right ankle in the second quarter of the Colts’ 24-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Monday night.
Colts coach Jim Caldwell said Foster will have surgery on the ankle. The injury occurred with 52 seconds remaining in the half and the Colts leading 10-7. Foster got tangled up with the pile while trying to assist on a tackle and remained down after the play. He was immediately attended to by the training staff, fitted with an air cast and left the field on a cart.
