Two first half touchdowns by Dez Bryant, and then he disappears.
Furthermore, the Cowboys wide receiver got called out for his disappearing act by Lions head coach Jim Schwartz.
The second-year receiver grabbed three tosses for 37 yards and two scores in the first half, helping his club put together an early 14-0 lead. Yet, he would not make another catch the rest of the way, as the Lions came back for a 34-30 win on Sunday in Big D.
Although Bryant appeared to make a catch late in the third quarter near the visiting sidelines – it got reversed.
It looked even worse because he began jawing with Lion players after making the originally ruled reception.
After the ruling was determined, FOX cameras caught Schwartz mouthing a curse word at Bryant while signaling incomplete pass.
Schwartz’s behavior evoked former Cowboys legendary quarterback Troy Aikman, who was a television analyst for the game, to say, “What the heck is going on out there?”
And if it wasn’t bad enough, the Lions coach had this to say about Bryant the day after the heartbreaking loss:
“I don’t think Dez Bryant had a catch after about midway through the first quarter,” Schwartz said.
Next time, make the catch Dez, and then the idiot coach would have no reason to talk trash to you.
