Steelers sack artist James Harrison will miss several weeks with a fracture of his right orbital eye socket, head coach Mike Tomlin announced on Tuesday.
Harrison will undergo surgery on Wednesday.
Tomlin adds that a groin injury to Jason Worilds means inside linebacker Lawrence Timmons will move outside to replace Harrison, who has two sacks on the season and has missed just one game over the last four campaigns. Larry Foote will move inside to start in Timmons’ spot.
The Steelers host Matt Hasselbeck, Chris Johnson and the Titans on Sunday.
