Redskins CB Hall rips referee, play call after Monday night’s fall to Cowboys

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall went off on the playcalling and blasted a referee (facemask call on Dez Bryant) after Monday night’s heartbreaking 18-16 loss to NFC East rival Cowboys; courtesy of The Washington Post.

The Virginia Tech product registered six solo stops in the loss to Dallas on Monday night.

People when they watch on TV will say D, he got beat on the play, but you guys had zero help.

“They can say whatever the [bleep] they want to say. I could care less.

Can you just talk about when he scrambles, how hard it is to stay with Dez as long as you had to.

You ain’t supposed to have to. You ain’t supposed to have to. But, I mean, [bleep] happens.

That play worked for you guys a lot earlier in the game.

Yeah, but sooner or later somebody’s gonna [bleeping] figure it out. You don’t have to be a [bleeping] rocket scientist to figure it out after a while.

So it wasn’t a good play?

You tell me. The end result was first down.

The facemask was just a bad break, grabbing at…

It was a [bleeping] terrible call. I told the ref he should [bleeping] lose his job. Man, back up off me, man. Like I said, I told the ref after that call, that might have been the worst call of the game. He gonna get some demerit points for that call, because that wasn’t no facemask.

Defense was just hanging on, hanging on, keeping them out of the end zone. Eventually does that catch up to you?

You know, you’ve got to keep points off the board, bottom line, and at the end of the day, if it was a field goal or a touchdown, it’s points on the board man, and as a defense, we’ve got to keep points off the board, so we didn’t do a good job of doing that.
