Breakout reciever Kenny Britt was held out of Wednesday’s practice due to tightness in his hamstring, according to PFT.com. Tennessee called the injury a thigh injury, but Britt made clear that it was his hamstring.
“Going out there in that first period of seven-on-seven, it kept on getting tighter and tighter, and it wouldn’t loosen up for me,” Britt said. “I got a little scared so I backed down,” said Britt.
The hamstring injury has bothered the reciever before, and kept him out of games in 2010. He already has 271 yards this season on 14 receptions for three touchdowns. He and new quarterback Matt Hasselbeck have found their stride this season and it will be huge for the Titans to keep Britt on the field.
