Not a lot to report here. The highlight of the 4th quarter would be the Giants final time consuming drive. In 9 plays the Giants moved the ball from their own 25 yard line all the way to the Rams 31 yard line. They drove the clock down to 2:08 as they approached 4th and 1. Instead of punting the ball away Coughlin decided to rub our noses in the dirt… I mean tried to clinch the game by going for it on 4th down. With a small exhibition of pride the Rams stuck Giants RB Jacobs for a 2 yard loss. Any remaining pride will have to be seen in our next game since we closed the night out with a Bradford sack and a couple incomplete passes.
This was not a good showing for the Rams. Although this was not a game we were expected to win, we still wanted to see signs of growth (we did not). Outside of the development of an offensive identity that I mentioned in my last game story, there weren’t a lot of positives to take away from this outing.
