Cowboys RB Jones, WR Austin out for Week three against Redskins?

Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports the early word on Cowboys’ injuries is not good. Running back Felix Jones separated his shoulder and wide receiver Miles Austin puled his hamstring again. The team is worried Austin is out through the team’s bye week which is Week 4.

Next week, the 1-1 Cowboys host the 2-0 division rival Redskins on Monday night for the team’s home opener.

Austin had a stellar Sunday afternoon in the Golden Gate city, hauling in nine passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns.

Jones ran the ball nine times for 25 yards against the 49ers.  His backup, rookie DeMarco Murray, had six carries for 21 yards.
