It came down to the last play of the game, but the Buffalo Bills improved to 2-0 with a shootout victory over the Oakland Raiders 38-35.
The Raiders sent one final scare in the Bills as Jason Campbell heaved a hail mary into the endzone. In the seas of red and blue and silver and black, it was anybody’s ball and for a brief moment it looked like the Raiders wrestled another jump ball away from the Bills’ secondary but it was rookie safety Da’Norris Searcy coming down with the game-saving interception preserving the win.
As you can expect, there will be much more to come throughout the remainder of the afternoon and this evening on the wild afternoon at Ralph Wilson Stadium. But it’s a beautiful day. The Bills are 2-0!
